Operational Mahi

The Operations team are responsible for the provision of secretarial, administrative, financial, natural/environmental resource management, reporting, developing and maintaining key relationships, and delivering projects in line with our Strategic and Annual Plan, for Tapuika Iwi Authority, Tapuika Oranga Ake and Tapuika Holdings Limited.

Our operational mahi falls under three main work streams:

Taiao / Environment

Delivery of the Rangiuru Business Park planting contract.
Planning and management of the organisation's resource management work programme.
Pest control operations and environmental monitoring.
Monitoring of the cultural and environmental impacts of earthworks associated with resource consents.

Our Taiao Projects

Ako / Education

Previous administration of the Ministry of Education Mana Whenua Teaching Grants for Tapuika.
Maintaining and developing strategic and operational relationships in the education space.
Managing and implementing education initiatives, including implementation of the Tapuika Education plan.
Identifying and developing new opportunities and funding partnerships to advance Tapuika education aspirations.
