We are building an 'A' team here at Tapuika and are looking for the right people to join us! Applicants are being sort for two critical positions within our Taiao Team, so Tapuika can be visibly active in regards to ocean, estuary, wetlands, rivers, forestry and conservation activity across all corners of the takapū (our region)
Tapuika has entered into a funding agreement with the Department of Conservation as part of the Mō Mahi mō te Taiao - Jobs for Nature programme that was in response to the impacts of COVID-19 on the workforce. DOC have focused this project on giving iwi capacity in the environmental space, which in turn will facilitate conservation outcomes.
Tapuika have created two positions as part of this partnership which we believe are key to achieving our aspirations in the Taiao. They involve working with crown agencies, local authorities and private landowners to promote Tapuika taiao principles and to contribute data, insight and narrative to a range of both internal & external strategies.
