A unique and exciting opportunity to join Tapuika Iwi Authority as a General Manager is now available. Reporting to the Executive Support Team and Board of Directors, you will strive to strengthen and enhance the organisation's core assets and operating effectiveness by setting the direction and culture for the team to perform at its best, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of services.

The General Manager will be focused on the economic and strategic development of Tapuika Iwi Authority, actively seeking and managing growth opportunities in order to diversify current operations, while raising achievement levels of Tapuika Iwi Authority in its commercial, social and cultural responsibilities. The General Manager works in partnership with the Board and is accountable for overall organisational success.

Overseeing the day-to-day service operations you will display the mana and cultural competency required to strengthen and lead Tapuika Iwi Authority, both internally and externally. As a leader in both business and within the communities you operate in, you will bring diverse and broad groups together, harnessing change and delivering on real outcomes.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) and is being offered as an initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity to extend the role for the long term upon proven success.
