The Tapuika Iwi Authority Trust

The Tapuika Iwi Authority was first established as an Incorporated Society on 22 February 1995. It was later re-established as a common law trust in 2004.

It is the duly mandated body to represent the uri of the tupuna Tapuika in settling claims as a result of misfortune and misdeeds which alienated Tapuika from their historical lands referred to as Te Takapū o Tapuika.
