Training opportunity now available

An opportunity has arisen through the Tauranga Eastern Motorway project to get tangata whenua trained in earthwork monitoring.
1. This would include how to identify soil layers ie Tarawera / kaharoa tephra etc.
2. Basic archaeology techniques in the recovery of taonga tuturu.
3. Possible identification of bone matter ie animal opposed to human
4. Excavating techniques etc.
There are positions available for up to three people to be trained?
